What a change a week can make. I had my prostate and seminal vessels removed exactly one week ago and I am doing very well. Pre-op sucked of course, cuz I wasn't sure what would happen and post op was a little better. I am writing a journal of my entire experience and will submit it when done. I am 48 yrs old and have experienced this from start (diagnosed level 2, Sept 11th 2007) to finish.
Feel free to send me questions on any part of the process and I will gladly respond.

Bret welcome to Healingwell.
This has been the best place for me to find refuge amoung the brethren with this disease. If you can, in the control panel, you can add a signature and tell us a little about your ordeal. It helps you get the people who have had experiences similar to yours. You can see my numbers below and I always look for those who ride this journey who experience what I have. We have two very wonderful moderators here, Bluebird, and Idahosurvivor but both are either travelling or very busy at work. I am certain you will see a heartfelt greeting from them.
