Just to clear something up...small bowel lymphoma is not just a celiac cancer...there are other causes of it. Gluten intolerance can cause is, as can AIDS.

Lymphoma of the small intestine is associated with celiac disease but is also strongly associated with weakened immune systems such as occurs with AIDS.
People do not understand what gluten is. They will look at the ingredients of something and look you in the eye and say, "This doesnt have gluten in it, only flour, sugar, *****!" They just do not understand what gluten is and unless they have to deal with it personally, they probably never will understand.
I also can not get gluten on my skin, no grains actually. I went for a haircut and they wanted to shampoo my hair first. I asked to see the ingred, they told me they were all the best ingreds...I told them I have to see the list. The shampoo was ok, so then I asked about the conditioner they use. They were very upset when I told them it contain wheat, to which they said, "Wheat is very good for your hair!" I told them unless they wanted all of their other customers to see me break out in huge hives from their conditioner, they had better keep it away from me. Immediately, they moved the conditioner. Sometimes you have to scare people to make them understand.
