I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in Jan. 2014 after 16 years of being misdiagnosed with just IBS. After being GF since January, I was finally able to get in to see a GI doctor for follow-up testing. There is a history of severe Crohn's in my family. I'm 25 and my doctor ordered both an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy to make sure there are not other issues going on in my body.
Fast forward to the prep. I absolutely have to work Monday, my prep day, due to the nature of my job in professional sports (we have a game). Prep starts at 2 PM that day with 238 grams of Miralax (one cap-full with 8 Oz. of clear liquid, every 15 minutes till gone) and I awake at 2:15 AM the day of the procedures to take 10 mg of Magnesium Citrate; procedure is at 7:15 AM. Our game time is 7 PM the day before procedure and realistically I need to be in working shape by 5:45 PM that day (close to 4 hours after start of prep).
I need tips on how to balance working/cleansing my colon. I'm thinking about
jump starting the liquid diet on Sunday, so it is less taxing when I am at work Monday. I would then implement the Miralax as instructed on Monday. Please help!!!
Thanks,
