Hi.
In march I have an HLA celiacs test done.
I have positive this allele: DQB1*0201.
I was negative for the: DQA1*0501 and for DQB1*0302.
So I have half of DQ2. That's a chance of 1:210 to get celiacs.
I don't know if I'm heterozigotes or homozigotes, I think it's not have been tested.
Are there anyone with my situation and get celiacs ?
Maybe this gene put me on high risk to be sensitive to gluten ?
I suffered since I was a teenager from IBS, and get very worse since 2010 on. In 2013 was terrible and I cut off almost all gluten. I eat only a few slice of spelt bread at day, nothing else with gluten. I 'm in a sort of low fodmap/paleo diet since 2013 and improved a lot.
I tested also in 2011 for lactose intollerance (positive) and celiacs (ttg igg and iga) and was negative.
That result surprise me because I don't know I carry half DQ2. I think I can also have Crohn's (I have anti asca igg test light positive). Never get any colonscopy or gastroscopy. I read ASCA con be positive in: Crohn's, celiacs, diabete 1 and other GI issues.
I tested for zonulin and I get very high results, so I have leaky gut.
What do you think ?
