Hey Guys,
Just wondering if any of you have any ideas how to control bad nerves?
I am going to the hospital on Wednesday to have an endoscopy done, and really am very nerves. I've had operations done in the past and these haven't worried me as much as this is. I have a fear of hospitals anyway and really don't know how to control my neves. I have suffered with panic attacks for many years now on and off, but havn't felt this bad for ages .
Also my daughter has been given the day off to come with me to have this done, but could anyone tell me if she would be allowed in with me when I have the endoscopy done? She is studing forenics for A levels in 6th form, and has just started a unit of work where they look at things under a miroscope, so far they have done the small intestine, a lung and stem cells. She is very keen to watch my endoscopy being done, so would anyone know if she would be allowed in with me to watch it, and to try and help me through it at the same time.
Any advise would be greatly received
Lee
