First some kitchen advice, throw out any wooden utensils and cutting boards, they are useless to you and harbor gluten even after they are washed. It's best to section off a corner of your pantry for just gluten free products such as GF flours and other dry ingredients. If you are preparing both regular and GF food at the same time, be sure to wipe everything down well and keep things separate, cross contamination happens more often than you think ;)
As far as shopping you're going to have a great time reading like Every.Single.Label until you figure out what is actually safe for you. Gluten is in so much food at the supermarket it's ridiculous. Luckily for us the FDA now requires all manufacturers to list the allergens in their products which is a good thing, but I still double check the labels, because well, you never know. My local supermarket has a whole section devoted to organic and natural foods and that is where I get a lot of the GF pastas, mixes etc.
For my own sanity I chose to go for a more whole foods based diet, specifically Paleo/Primal. You can Google information on those, but I find I have less stomach issues the less grains I have in my diet as well. Hope that helps you some. My mum has been a super sensitive celiac for over a decade now, so I'm pretty well versed in the procedures of being celiac and eating gluten free :)
