There are many alternatives to pharmaceuticals for sleep issues. Practicing good sleep hygiene, herbs such as skullcap or chamomile, and essential oil of lavender are some that come to mind.
Then there's melatonin, GABA, L-Theonine, Tryptophan, etc. But need to watch for interactions with other medications if you try these (talk with your pharmacist).
