So I was Diagnosed with Advanced Graves Disease (hyperthyroidism)last year. Had my thyroid removed because it was very large and choking me. Since I've had low calcium levels and magnesium levels. My body hurts all the time. Intense muscle spasms, bone pain, it's a nightmare. I've always had sort of an upset stomach and I thought it resulted from the Graves Disease as it subsided some since I had my thyroid removed. Anyhow, my endocrinologist tested me for Celiac Disease recently and these were my results. He believes I have it and has referred me to an Gastroenterologist because he knows nothing about it. I'm assuming since he told me "You have Celiac Disease" that he consulted with a Gastro on these results or else he knows how to read the test. My results are as follows:
Immunoglobulin A, QN, Serum- 167 (Range is 91-414)
Deamidated Gliadin ABS, IGA- 8 (Range 0-19)
T-Transglutaminase (TTG) IGA- 16 (Range 0-3) High Positive
What do you all think? I know I probably need a biopsy to confirm anything. Can I be negative on two of three of the tests and still have it?
