Hi guys. I am Mary and I am new to this forum but not to Healingwell. I usually post in Ostomies and had my Colon removed 3 weeks ago for Colonic Inertia. Now that one issue is fixed(hopefully), I need to concentrate on my Thyroid again. I have been Hypothyroid for about
8 years(diagnosed). My levels constantly fluctuate. My T4 is always too low and my TSH is always high. I have had a few times where my TSH was over 100. Obviously that isn't good and I still deal with being tired as my major complaint. The symptoms don't seem to disappear even when my levels are "normal". As a matter of fact, I don't feel good unless my levels are considered to be"hyperthyroid". I am currently on 112 MCG of Levothyroxine. I have been reading about
Dessicated Thyroid and have been considering trying it out. I currently just see a PCP, do you think I need to see an Endocrinologist? Has anyone taken any homeopathic medications for your thyroid, supplemental to Synthroid? Thanks you!
ETA:Does anyone else have hands that tingle and are numb? I get dizzy a lot too and my vision goes black, is this Thyroid related?
