what do these lab results mean ? pls help

tsh 1.25 freee t4 1.10 thyroid perox auto ab 96 .. I have a goiter and feel really bad docs say its a wait and see before any meds ! I have had mri ultrsounds just feel awful thanks

What is the reference range for ft4 and TPOab?
According to my experience, I'll feel hypER with that TSH, but every one is different, so for many that is an optimal TSH.

At early stages of hashi the numbers might look normal, maybe this is why your doctor wants to wait.

Ask also fot ft3,antiTGab and TSIab tests...

I don't know what the lab reference range is for your TPO ab but usually anything
over about 35 is positive for the test. Based on that, I would say your thyroid tissue
is being attacked by your immune system, a sign of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I'm really
glad that you switched doctors because it sounds like your new doctor is on the
right track. With Hashi's, your thyroid hormone levels will fluctuate as you can see
from the difference in your tests. In fact, it's common to go from hypothyroid symptoms
to hyperthyroid symptoms and back and forth. There will even be times when your
antibody test will be in the normal range. I really hope that your doctor will find the
right treatment for you and you will start feeling better. Let us know what you find out.

You just replied to an old post of mine, and while I am looking at other post, I run across yours too. Haha. I did reply to what you sent me yesterday...but I found a couple of interesting things in this post of yours. First, it sucks that your husband isn't totally on board and understanding quite what your going through yet. I think my husband is trying...I have always been very athletic, energetic, and overly crazy about being organized and tidy. I know have four you children that I need to take care of, one with special needs....but now, the game has changed. My husband has recognized the changes in what can and can't get done in a day and tries to help. He is a retired hockey player with lots of aches and pains from his previous injuries yet he powers through his days and keeps chugging along despite his pain. I don't really think that he totally understands what I am going through and expects that I can get through my pain like he does. He does try to sympathize and never gives me a hard time about what I can or can't do...but sometimes, I still think he doesn't really get it and has never really read anything about Hashi's or listens close to what I explain to him. I think he believes he is sympathizing, but it's hard for me to get him to understand how I have been feeling. I think this is especially difficult when there are no real specific "yes, you have this disease and you will suffer from x because this is what your tests PROVE and this is how you can be fixed." Wouldn't it be wonderful if this were the case. It was even harder to accept and discuss how I was feeling with my husband when my doc diagnosed me originally with fibromyalgia. My blood results continue to fall in the "normal ranges" except TPO...I was at 225 with range 0-35 the last test. I would have taken him to a doc appt. with me had I thought that might help him understand, but when doc doesn't do anything but tell us to wait, what is my husband going to think then? Another thing that interested me in your post here...you said you had an mri done. I haven't even had that or an ultrasound because none of my tests were out of normal range. I have pain in my neck and shoulder...since January, but doc still sees no reason for meds, mri or ultrasound, or a referral to an endo. What were you able to determine from your mri? Simply that you have a goiter, or did they see anything else for concern? Just curious since my chiropractor, who is the only one helping and doing anything, said that I could get an mri script from him if I would like to get it done. Was it worth it for you? Hope you start feeling better soon and maybe print some good reading stuff about all of this to your husband...maybe you can get him to help understand a bit better why you feel like you do. Let him read my post too...we are tired, sore, in pain, and trying our best to get through each day so we can take care of our families...we just need a little tlc from them too!

 

The Dr said that my tsh t4 t3 are all perfect .. but that I have Hashis she will refer me to see an endo fo help with my goiter and nodules . but that there is no meds for this until if effects my levels . She said my getting sick all the time and being very tired has nothing to do with hashis ! Bummer almost cried.... she said that its a matter of time I will be hypo and then they can give me some meds .... This sucks wonder how long Ill have to feel like this ! bummer  ..... Free t3 labs were : 2.95 ( 2.3 4.2 normal levels ) seems im a bit low but not to the doctors ?
