I don't know if all my symptoms are thyroid related but I feel like crap.
I'll start by saying my TSH is 0.34 with a range of 0.45-4.5, my free T4 is 1.4 with a range of 0.8-1.8, and my total T4 is a little high (not sure what it is now but in July it was 12.1 and they said it's usually better under 12). The TSH has fallen since August, when it was about 0.66. Doctors tell me I'm fine and need no treatment at the moment.
I went through a lot of emotional stress in 2011-early 2012, then got a bad virus in April, and possibly got sick from mold. I believe that triggered a thyroid problem. I was REALLY sick for a while but I have gotten a bit better since then and can at least still function, but these are the symptoms I have now. In addition to heart palpitations, and anxiety I have:
-IBS-like symptoms (more frequent bowel movements, cramps, urgent need to have a bowel movement right after waking up) and nausea, but also a need to eat more often. If I don't eat every two hours I get really lightheaded.
-Some degree of lightheadedness pretty much all the time
-Alternating periods of fatigue and high energy, and I almost always feel better at night
-Skin appears to be thinning, I have more visible veins in my face and hands
I just don't know what to do... I feel terrible but doctors simply don't want to hear it. I had another thread that got a lot of replies but I thought I'd talk more about my most recent symptoms.
