Hello
I'm 20, I'm male, about a year ago, I was getting tired quickly but generally feeling well. My parents told me to go to do blood test and surprisingly TSH was 7.6 normal (0,510-4,300) and thyroglobulin antibodies were about 350.
I was taking levothyroxine 25 mcg every morning and feeling well. Two months later, suddenly I felt worse, heart rate was fast, blood pressure high. I checked TSH and was 3.6. I went to endocrinologist and he increased dose. 4 days a week 25 mcg, 3 days 50 mcg. A month later started muscle twitching, i noticed it on my legs. I checked my ft3, ft4 levels, they are about 60% and TSH is 4,6. I also have nodule.
Sometimes I have fast heart rate, muscles are twitching, when I went to doctor he didn't see that because at that moment they weren't... Often I feel like muscles are pulsating. It is seen by others, sometimes they twitch more sometimes less. The muscles seem to be weak and I noticed that my veins seem to be more visible. I checked sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, everything was okay, but calcium was at 2.54 normal (2,15-2,55).
High calcium is a symptom of overactive thyroid but my thyroid doesn't seem to be overactive, I don't eat much calcium, no diary or calcium supplements, any ideas?
I don't know where are these muscle twitches from? Recently the other doctor noticed high calcium, and said it might be caused by it.
