I dislike posting in other peoples forums, but I thought that I am supposed to post in a forum where the topic is already kind of being discussed. I really hope yours gets figured out, and soon! I know I dislike having my problems... been 3 months for the abdominal pain.
Most of my doctors have thought that I have had thyroid issues or anemia. I have been seeing a therapist for awhile now and my medication provider decided to check my labs again just to see if things have been overlooked. Well being military I can see my test results;
my Thyrotropin is 4.510 and my cholesterol (good and bad) are pretty elevated as well (268 - should be under 200 and 166 for the other one i believe).
my FT4 i believe is 0.95 or 0.96
I've started having issues with abdominal pain, but I don't have a diagnosis for that yet, not sure if this is the appropriate place to post stuff with my bowels...
Anyways, I have suffered with depression and anxiety for a long time, and just recently after getting on zoloft i've gained 20 pounds!!! Ugh i hate it! But does the elevated thyrotropin and cholesterol generally mean that hypothyroidism could be the culprit?
Thanks for letting me rant :)
