Hmm... I don't remember anyone talking about
this. Personally, I've always used a good lip balm because I seem to have a habit of licking my lips a lot. Is your skin more dry in general?

my lips were never a problem , but my skin was semi dry , but it seems to be getting better now , but now my lips are chapped , I looked it up and it seems there is a connection with chapped lips and synthroid , and my eyes don't seem to be as tired now , I seem to focus a lot better and also something else has greatly improved , but that's something I will never talk about
lol , not even with my doctor !

I can definitely connect the eyes. Thyroid problems often come woth iritis, an inflammatory process in the eyes. Getting the hormone level back to normal can ease that dry, irritated feeling.
This is one reason thyroid function is so difficult to evaluate from symptoms. They come on so gradually, we often don't notice them until they are very bad. Likewise, they go away gradually as our bodies come back into balance. Thus our advice to wait 10 to 12 weeks to evaluate medication changes.
Glad some things are getting better for you now!
