The eye changes that come with thyroid problems (usually bulging eyes) may slowly go away after the thyroid is treated, but sometimes they don't. Here are a couple of easy places to read about

bulging eyes rather than puffy skin around the eyes. If not, puffiness is caused by fluid retention and will usually go away as your thyroid levels become normal.)
