Hello and welcome ,
It could be that you are hypothyroid due to the surgery, in some cases the left part of your thyroid can produce enough hormones.
If you are at least six weeks post the surgery then perform thyroid function test,specially TSH to see what your levels are doing .
It would be clever to perform the TSH test before you go to the endo so that you take a copy with you.
If your TSH is elevated then your Endo will put you on Levo, in that case ask to be put on brand name Levo like Synthroid ,if your insurance allow .
