Thyroid test results

Free T4 = 1.1 ng/dl
T3 Free = 2.9 pg/ml
TSH = .691
Reverse T3 = 18.9

YOu need to provide the ranges for each T3 and T4- they are on the test report.

Ranges are different for different testing machines used, so guessing which one is out of the question.

TSH ranges are the same, and .691 does not look hypo at all, but TSH should not be uaes foe Dx, the T's are best as those are cell consumable hormones, TSH is not, its just a signal..

Well, you are very borderline, if any thing. And thy med would simply be an experiment, as this might be normal for you, nit very hypo, and TSH is perfect. With lyme, I would check this again later on even if you done use thy meds.

Your test actually looks like someone who has already been on thyroid meds- but not enough meds as the meds sometimes drive down the TSH making you look hyper, while the 3 and 4 T's are still med to low.

The reverse T3 is confusing - often more math needed. Since they did not provide a range, I suspect the calculation was NOT done. In that case go to stop the thyroid madness site , look for RT3 conversion calculator, plug in Rt3 and Ft3 to get the result- yes, thats what you do. Revers T3 happens under any kind of stress, but usually the T3 will soar since it wont fitt into the cell receptors, and doesn't get used.

YOu dont have hashi with those two autoimmune tests, great, as it sucks.

**If anything I'd say you might only have a T4 to T3 conversion issue. Some supplements and selenium and brazil nuts can raise it a little.**

That is why I am leery of taking amour since it does have t4 in it. Any ideas how to raise low body temperature. My hands and feet get icy. Plus I do have raised bilirubin diagnosed with Gilbert’s last year.

My ft3 ratio range was 15.3 and they say should be 20 or higher. Everything I read should supplement t3 only. I don’t have a doctor who will do this.
