thyroid medication and frequent urination

I do not think that is a normal side effect. I suppose if you were hypo, your urination could slow down and now it is returning to normal. Seems like everything slows down when your are hypothyroid. It might be something totally unrelated. Were you on a synthetic thyroid replacement before or is this your first time on a thyroid hormone replacement? It can take several weeks for your body to adjust. Ask your doctor to order a thyroid panel in six weeks to verify if your dosage is correct. Once you feel good, your thyroid should be checked annually.

I have taken Armour (comparable) for over 20 years and have done very well, if that helps you.

Armours price is crazy today. Five years ago it was $15 cash for 90 days, now its over $150 for me depending on the pharma. Every time they get bought (every 5 years lately) the price goes up. I switched to NP Thyroid which was cheap now they are raising prices too - but with Walgreens dicount card its $52 for 90 days. Straight cash no discount NP is $90.

I never had Rx insurance that helped pay for natural thyroid meds. In 09 when was almost no natural thyroid in the US, I ordered Canadas Erfa Thyroid from Winnipeg Can via credit card and Dr faxed script it was $45 for 90 days.

All natural thyroid med in the US have the same hormone from the same place, just different fillers added per manufacture.
