radioactive uptake scan

This place is not that active.

Rare test, Ive had them all but this.

Free T3, free T4 along with tsh.........those three tests results determine your thyroid levels. Not one...all three.

Never heard of a Dr saying you need the radioactive uptake scan for a diagnosis. Weird.

What country are you in?

Very seldom is this test done. That why no one answered.

Please provide what your thyroid issues and symptoms seem to be. Hypo, hyper, nodule's, cancer ect??

What are your free t3, free t4 and tsh results? This is step #1 in thyroid diagnosis.

Ultra sound imaging with a simple hand held device is the most common and safe method of imaging the thyroid glad. Takes 20 minutes. No radioactive injections or anything.

And again are you in the US or some other country. ? Some country's do thing their way, which is not always the best.

I'm curious.

Your TSH is in the 'hyper' range.

Please provide the reference range for the FT4 and FT3 with the TSH !
