Hey, I've just go diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few weeks ago. Before I was diagnosed my legs were swelling all the time. My doctor put me on 2 lasix a day and synthoid. For three weeks my legs didn't swell.

Today they were huge!

Does anybody here have trouble with their legs swelling?

Yes this does happen, and it can also mean that there could be some circulation problems. So how is your circulatory system?

It's fine. I had some spider veins which I had lasered two years ago. My heart echogram was okay except for some slight enlargement due to sleep apnea. But the ejection pressure is fine.
My sister-in-law has hypothyroidism and her legs swell at times also. It's very weird.
