Hi All!
I just started (last Wed. - 09-23) on Synthroid SOD @ 0.025 mgs/ day. My gp thought it would be best to start with a very low dose, as my blood tests revealed that I was on the very low end of normal.
He told me that we will watch for signs of the dosage either not being enough, or too much.
What I'm not sure of is just how do you know if it's enough when you have long-standing chronic Lyme Disease? The symptoms of the two are similar enough that I'm not sure how.
Also, my doc put me on an abx for my teeth, which seems to be causing a herx - or maybe it's just that I'm not on a high enough dose of the Synthroid???
Maybe most of my confusion lies in the fact of the thick brain fog I'm in right now???
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
