Hello everyone! I usually post on the Crohn's forum (was just diagnosed 11/09), but decided to come here to get some thyroid info. I have mild-moderate Hashimoto's which so far has not been regulated by natural means (via my Naturopath), so he prescribed the two pills I mentioned. I have NO clue about thyroid issues, and was wondering if anyone can give me some info on these drugs, and anything else that seems relevant. Thanks!

I'm on the levoxyl. It's also know as synthoid.
I have hypothyroidism.

Before I started my medication I suffered from bouts of blue and fatigue. My legs swelled horribly from leg edema. I also developed sleep apnea.
Once my medication was regulated, my blues and fatigue were gone. My legs still swell (I'm taking lasix) and I sleep with a CPAP. This is probably a lifetime thing for me.
