Hi I was wondering if anyone has where one of there eyes twitch all the time and where it feels like the top of your head is swollen and that your brain feels like it might blow at the wrong move? I have been having these feelings for the last couple aeeks ever since my dr. Uped my med dose

I just looked at the medicine you said you just got off of "effoxin" (sp?). It can cause Hypothyroidism. Do you think that the effoxin caused your hypothyroidism while you were on it and now that your off of it your thyroid is returning to normal levels causing your headaches? Look into it....

No I was have been taking meds for my thyroids since 2004 I was put on the effxer 2 years ago I got off it last year I don't think the effxer had anything to do with my thyroids

i think if it had it would be a lot easier to understand sad but then again i have Doctors who don't know anything about thyroids really so its a no win either way lol i know the thyroid spec here are cost to much $ and i just don't have it to spend on a Dr. my kids come first i hope the Dr i do have is better then the last one

I understand Moms sometimes put themselves last for their children. But remember sometimes we need to put our health first for us to be there for our children.

If you have hypothyroidism take your medication & be tested every 3 months you should be ok....If its off the Dr will adjust your medication......no brainer......

the twitching has finely slowed to almost a stop now im glad about that now i have just been really tired lately and have more headaches i am trying to understand what is going on with my body now i read all i can on my hypothyroidism but that only tells you so much doctors are suppose to help you understand the rest but a lot don't and i don't get any help from my family they think i am crazy and a hypochondriac eyes i am thinking about calling my doctor tomorrow and letting him know how i am feeling.

I just have to ask has anyone had symtoms that are shown to be with the hyperthyroidism family and be hypo or viceverca(sp?) I was. Just asking cause I came across a site that had the sysmtoms of hyper its has nerveseness on there I am neverse all the time hypo says panics but hyper says anexity it has me so confussed at to what goes with what I know everyone is different I am just trying to understand more .....I saw my Dr. Since last time I was here he raised my dose from .125 to .150 when I asked him about the intince headaches that I get at my temples he said it was nothing. They sure ain't nothing to me cause my head is hurting like crazy ...sorry for rataling.

You maybe having a side effect of the additives of the medicine. Sometimes the additives can give you weird side effects.

i was just diagnosed hypo but have some of the hyper, but I have so many problems and alot of the symptoms are the same.
