Hi everyone. I have addisons disease, gout, fybromyalgia, terrible anx n panic n depression, total gastrectomy n spleenectomy, dystonia, pernicious anemia, chron fatigue, hypoglycemia, arthritis, migraines, insomnia, constant pain, nausea, limited mobility, cant work nemore as counselor/program director. Knew nothing of Addisons til it took me out. Very little family left or support. Looking for support hope anything. I dont recognize my life as I knew it AT ALL. Does ne1relate or have addisons gout or dystonia? Id b soooo grateful for someone 2 talk 2 here. Also glad 2 share n help u. This is 1 of those days I cant imagine getting thru. THANK U!

Sorry I don't have addisons.
This and the fibro are both good places to find answers and support.
I am going thru alot myself.
Have never felt like this. Haven't worked for 2 yrs now. The Bistro closed and I haven't been able to find anything.
I am not the same person I was 3 yrs. ago. I don't like to cook, sew, create or go outside.
I was always doing something but now I just can't and don't want to. lol
I make myself get up every morning and at least keep my house clean. I even get dinner made for my husband most nights.
Don't ask me to remember anything. I can't. Everyone who know me will second that.
I don't feel I can drive right now either.
Just know that you're not alone. We are out here and understand.
Hope things get better soon.

OH u just gave me my story. I worked cooked cleaned went out just had a wonderfully overly full life. Cant do those things nemore. Crazy thing is I feel shame evn tho I didnt cause it and cant control it. The muscle spasms get me. It was a factor n my divorce. He just cldnt deal w a sick wife who, as he said, was about as much fun as a dead horse. Nice. But being a southern woman the cooking and all is also how I expressed my love 4 my family. I miss it. My grown sons understand but it still makes me feel bad. Cant drive or work now either. I just dont understand the shame at being sick. But cuz of my boys I will cont 2 look and try and believe there r answers we just havent found yet. Imust say I hav learned many lessons thru this. IT WILL HAPPEN.

You don't need to feel ashamed, You're sick. Your body is in a rebelious state and you can't control it. There's nothing shameful about being ill.
There is a solution for you in getting help. Have you considered speaking to a counselor? There are many out there who can help you cope with your problems on a more personal level...
Meanwhile, we're here too.

Couchtater...I love that name as I sit here on mine replying! Yes, Im going 2 hav2 move w my sister 4 awhile 2 finalize ssdi n April. Plans r to get n2 new docs 4 more tests n opinions n med re-evals. Sld b able 2 afford then 2 see a cslr again n also maybe med re-evals. Hav multpl medical probs that r pt of it, but also external things ptsd that I need more wk on it seems. Bless u and thank u. MoreHuggz.
