Normally I post in the Fibro boards but I just got my blood tests and thyroid ultrasound results back from my endo. Everything is with in normal ranges except my thyroglobulin is high 56.5 ( reference range is 2.0-35.0 ) My thyroid ultrasound showed that my thyroid was on the larger end of normal and had some small nodules that she said were not a concern. I believe my Thyroid Peroxide Antibodies were normal range.
I only even asked for these tests after being diagnosed with fibro which to me feels like more of a diagnosis of " we don't know what's wrong with you, sorry." So anyone going through it will desperately explore all avenues. All I know is, I'm 36 and I haven't felt rested in 7 years. Whether I get 12 hours or 12 minutes of sleep it all feels the same when I wake up. I am so fatigued and in a fog I don't even recognize myself anymore. I take adderall to be alert enough to drive, not even kidding. I'm achey and sore beyond words, 80% of it is in my shoulders and neck pain. My lymph bodes under my jaw hurt all the time, sore throats come and go as too mild fevers. Dry skin, cold intolerance the list goes on and on. I really just want to rule my thyroid out and close that book.
My endo seems unconcerned so I assume I should be too. But figured I'd see if anyone had any thoughts on high Thyroglobulin. I'm assuming since my nodules were too tiny to be any concern that I am not a cancer risk.
If it were not for my twin toddler girls, I honestly think I'd just give up on all this and live the rest of my life on antidepressants and adderall. Clearly I'm not getting anywhere even being my own advocate.
