I was diagnosed with acid reflux disease was put on nexium for 1 and 1/2 then it stopped working.
for 3 months i threw up constantly,3 and 4 times a day.
then my doctor puts me on dexilant a ppi.
which helped alot now for a month i have had dysphagia,a sore throat,a feeling of food stuck in my throat then my doctor had an ultra sound set up.
today the tech tells me there is a nodule on the rt of the thyroid, and 1 on the left of the thyroid.
i am only 40 and recently quit smoking (about 7 weeks ago, although cancer has no discrimination on age.)
I gained alot of weight course that was 3 yrs ago, constantly on steroids (which i usually am on twice a year.
i exercise but the wt wont come off.
I am tired all the time which the diagnosis for that was anemia.
my pcp didn't feel a lump, although it may be suttle but it feels huge to me in my throat when i swallow.
is there some thing to shrink the nodules or does nodules require a biopsy all the time.
If the nodules are undetectable by feel does that mean they have too be biopsied?
what could this be
symptoms:
drainage, mucous in the throat, fatigue, throat sore, scratchy, feeling of a pill stuck in your throat(which is probably nodles, what can make them go away?treatment?
