Thyroid problem.

I was diagnosed last March 2012 of having SGH which stands for Subacute Granulomatous Hyperthyroidism. Since this past January, ive been feeling like someone is taking their hands and squeezing my neck putting pressure on my trachea (windpipe). 3 1/2 weeks ago, my endocrinologist informed me that the nodule that is on the left side of my thyroid has been growing. He said that's why I've been feeling the pressure. He did an FNA test where he sticks a long fine needle into my neck and into my thyroid gland to get a sample of fluid. This test is to determine if the nodule is cancerous or not. But I am hoping for either a partial thyroidectomy or a total thyroidecomy. It is very hard to get any sleep as you can probably figured out. I will try to keep you informed about my situation. Thanks.
