UnKnown Thyroid Problems

I have read on many medical forums and websites that the cause of my chronic urticaria may be an auto-immune disease that involves my thyroids. I haven't gotten any insurance so I couldn't have gotten any real diagnosis or treatment. I know I shouldn't believe everything on the internet and so on ans o forth. I just want opinions. Could it be true that chronic urticaria is caused by a thyroid auto-immune disease? I would appreciate nice replies, nothing hurtful.Thanks, and to those who know me, Hi! I missed you guys!
