I went for my annual physical a little over a month ago. I told the dr I was getting heart palpitations at night , was gaining weight like crazy and was always so tired. He took blood work at about 630 pm (after a full day of food). My TSH came back at 5.4 - he told me I may be hypothyroid. A week later he took another blood test at lunch (I fasted) and results came back at 2. 2 weeks later I went back with bad heart palpitations around lunch time (fasted again) my results came back at 2.7. That night I went to the ER bc of my heart and my TSH levels were 6.8. Anybody know if there is a time of day or fast vs no fast that gives the most accurate results? So confused by how my numbers are fluctuating so much , especially in 1 day!
