I had Graves' Disease shortly after the birth of my daughter, who is now 8. Seems as if my levels were always way off. Ended up having thyroid removed in Aug of 2011 due to a nodule on the left lobe. And have been on Synthoid since then. I take the 160 mcg. I do take the generic, but that shouldn't make a difference.
I feel horrible all the time. The fatigue is more than I can take. I am so very tired all the time. I need to schedule and appt and get my levels checked. Low calcium has also been a huge problem since having my surgery. I was in the hosp for this after my surgery. I do take my meds everyday and calcium also.
Being a single mom of 2 kids, working full time, and doing it all by myself does not go with being tired like this. It takes a effort to just move. I am not lazy, and never have been. Using the words tired and fatigue, don't seem adequate in describing how this feels. It is like the life has been sucked out of me. NO energy at all. There are so many things that need to be done. This is the worst feeling...
Thanks for letting me vent.
