Hypothyroidism and Swollen legs

I have suffered with hypothroidism for several years and have constant problems with leg swelling to the point that I dont want to walk.

last blood work shows TSH 3.06 range 0.40-4.50

t4free 1.1 0.8-1.8

t3total 227 76-181

I am taking 150 mg armour. Had worse problems with synthroid and cyctomel. I cant go on like this and Dr doesnt seem to be helping. Has anyone had thses problems?

Hypothyroidism can certainly cause fluid retention and swelling, but your labs don't indicate hypothyroidism at this point. Have you looked into other causes for the swelling? Some things that come to mind are heart of circulatory problems, kidney problems or simple water retention.

If you haven't had a complete general physical exam, that would be a great place for you to start.
