Cytomel- what to expect and how to stick it out?

Hi,

I'm getting ready to add Cytomel to my Synthroid, and I've heard about jitteriness, rapid heart beat, insomnia etc... so I'm a bit nervous. Could people post experiences here and suggest whether the bulk of these side effects (if experienced) diminish once the body adjusts?

I've not been on Cytomel, but the symptoms you mention are indicative of hyperthyroidism and usually would mean you're over medicated. I'd say they would merit a call to your doctor if you experience them.
