I have no thyroid, I take Thyroxine, actually a tad hyperthyroid, but the doctor is fine with that. Just two weeks ago, I went through a week or so of freezing, I was drinking slightly hot water at work, and when possible, at work, I'd sit with a heater focused on my legs, running most of the time. At home I woke up one morning, my temperature was 96.8 (not to be confused with 98.6).
Finally called the doctor and he ordered thyroid level tests. They came back normal. Apparently I had a cold of some type, an odd thing that afflicted several in my family. Started out as an insane lower back ache, I couldn't even turn over in bed ( I was still going to work, just didn't move fast). A few days with the lower back pain and it remitted, but then the low body temperature started. That went on for a week or so and I'm finally back to normal.
Though I had similar issues with being cold, my resting heart rate was normal, so you may have more justifications for believing you're hypothyroid. Hope you warm up soon.
Be well.
