So I couldn't take the pain&tiredness with nausea&another to much info to say&Iam still feeling weak& tired,they ran test to check everything&just like I knew it was my thyroid level is to high. And they say that means my hormone level is to low as they say my hormone level is 35,000 & it should be higher then that,I must say now I know why I just want to cry my head off and sleep and sleep they also told me with me not having no thyroid. They they didn't need to do know free T3 are T4 test because mine is about hormone,is this true are do I still need the test done all I want is to get better so I can feel better ans have strength to do more because my thyroid has been nothing but trouble lately¬ a help at all wirg anxiety&Iam trying to not let the emotions scare me.

Do you have the results to post them here with reference range?

Are you on any thyroid medication? which dose ?

Had they started you on Levo, or changed an existing dose of it?

Basically, TSH should suffice, but if you can get the frees also that would be better, especially if your TSH does not reflect your true thyroid status.

When you say that they said that your hormonal levels were at 35,000 , what hormone do you mean? FT4 ? TT4 ?

I don't know I will have to see if I can get copy she just said my hormone level,I was thinking I needed all the test done but here where Iam it will be hard to find a doctor that will do free T3&T4 with me not having a thyroid at all Iam a emotional wreck,I know I need this order&soon because Iam tired of the up&down cycle.
I don't know much about hormone levels in women wish I knew a site to go to&understand it better,I know no one here is a doctor but I would be grateful to any advice on what to do. Because all doctors have ever tested is my TSH level¬hing else,but with so many problems I think I need to rule out graves&hashimoto.

Hi,
If your TSH is high, this indicates that you have hypothyroidism, in that case you need to be on thyroid hormone replacement, Levothyroxine, after wards, once your TSH is balanced properly for you, you will start to feel better, so what you need to do is to get a copy of the TSH test and after that, see your doctor, and ask to see an endocrinologist, who should advice you regarding your dose .

Yes Iam on levo&have been for years still np full change.
