Hello,
I have been having some trouble for some time with pain in my throat and other various health issues. I have gone to several doctors and none have any suggestions. So after my last basic blood work came back ok and the dr sent me on my way telling me he had no idea what i should do, I decided to get an antibody blood test on my own.
My results were: Thyroid Peroxidase <6 reference interval 0-34
Thyroglobulin antibody 2.3 Reference interval 0.0-0.9 It was high
First is this refrence interval strange it seems different from others i have seen online?
What does it mean that my Thyroglobulin is High? Also what step do I need to take? I do not really have a primary care physician just the last guy I saw who seemed pretty incompetent. Do I need to see an Endoctrinologist? The ones around here wont take me without referral. How serious is this and what are my chances that this is autoimmune?
thanks
