Seen my doctor yesterday,
Sent me for blood work to check my antibodies for Hashimotos,
Starting Levothyroxine tomorrow morning.

Are you starting a generic form or brand name ? if your insurance allow, insist on brand name !

It should be written on the bottle , there are Synthroid made by Abbvie, Levoxyl made by Pfizer and Tirosint !

It is preferable to be on brand name since changing the source of the generic can change the weekly dose .

I'm on Generic, I go back to see her as soon as I get my results, I'll mention it.
