How to make insurance cover synthroid

I get heart palpitations when I switch to generics and only synthroid works.But my insurance does not cover the brand synthroid. Has anyone got the insurance to cover for synthroid if you cannot take generic ones??

Usually when you need an exception, you doctor can help you with an appeal to the insurance company. Has he/she written a justification for them?
