Jan 1, 2015 very bad symptoms of hyperthyroid
Jan 13, 2015:
thyroxine free = 13.1 pmol/L (8-18) - normal
T3 free = 5.94 pmol/L (3.5-5.7) - high
TSH=0.02 mIU/L (0.4-4.4) - low
(Can someone explain if TSH is low, why is thyroxine free normal??
Jan 19, 2015:
Started taking Tapazole 15 mg/day
Feb 11, 2015:
thyroxine free = 6.2 pmol/L (8-18) - low
T3 free = 4.62 pmol/L (3.5-5.7) - normal
TSH=2.95 mIU/L (0.4-4.4) - normal
(so it looks like Tapazole did something - return TSH and T3 to normal, but now thyroxine is low!)
Feb 16, 2015:
Reduced Tapazole dosage to 5 mg/day
March 9, 2015:
thyroxine free = 8.6 pmol/L (8-18) - normal but on low end
T3 free = 5.84 pmol/L (3.5-5.7) - high again
TSH=3.32 mIU/L (0.4-4.4) - normal
(So reducing Tapazole dosage not great since T3 is back up again
April 27, 2015:
thyroxine free = 10.6 pmol/L (8-18) - normal
T3 free = 4.84 pmol/L (3.5-5.7) - normal
TSH=1.95 mIU/L (0.4-4.4) - normal
(everything normal now)
Is there anything to be gleaned from these numbers?
