I have no experience with nodules, anyway, in third of the cases they shrink when start taking thyroid medications in case of autoimmunity, so if you have hashi and it causing you hypo then levo can shrink the nodule this is of course if it is not cancerous, if it is cancer then your surgeon should remove it and they give you RAI to destroy any remaining tissue of your thyroid and a suppression dose of levo.
If your surgeon removes your nodule and only it, then most probably that you have hashi and thus need to be put on some dose of Levothyroxine to balance your hypo.
