Jackie, as you might know I'm on the lyme forum. I dont remember if I answered a thyroid question for you or not.
There have been many people on the thyroid forum and here who seem to have T4 to T3 conversion problems. Low T3 increases muscle pain, weakness and lowers/slows digestion. Selenium ( in Brazil nuts) increases T3.
But your T4 is almost rock bottom too!
Liver is a big factor in the conversion process. Will all the lyme killing your liver might be under stress too. Detox a lot. D-limonene by Jarrow is the best liver detoxer there is.
Did your reverse T3 say "calculated"? If not you need to go to "stopp the thyroid madness" . com site and plug in your numbers to get the calculated reverse T3.
You should demand the two thyroid antibody tests called TgAB and TPO. If you have Hashimoto (if one or both are elevated) glutan and milk free is suggested nowdays. Hashimoto is autoimmune inflammation process and not the same as regular (easier) plain old hypothyroid.
