That was a link to a fibromyalgia forum. Just like this is a forum With Advertising, with ads here on every page, ads for a variety of products. To cover the cost of the forum they have ads. You got an ad presented to you about a supplement, and probably that ad presentation was based on your own online activity. cookies. I see an ad for something entirely different, about research into human primary cells. Probably because I was just reading about Prof. Robert Phair's genetic work for the
open Medicine Foundation. Or perhaps by virtue of my having clicked on sites with info about hemopietic cells.

This is where the information is about diseases, the immune systems, and hemopietic cells affecting TSH levels. You surely do not mean to deprive people of knowing how their disease or syndrome may be affecting their thyroid hormone output.


So far as I am aware there is not a rule against posting to another forum?

Straydog, did you scroll down to the forum thread? Just as at healingwell, there is an ad near to the top of the page. It is below my screenname and avatar. I do not understand this at all. At the top of this page, healingwell is "selling" me bras from JCPenney. It's is the same thing.

The advertising that you see at Healing Well is all approved by the administrator. The MDJunction you continue to post has the click here to buy a supplement.

I read the post and the linked article, when the link was still there. It was somewhat interesting thyroid information. Valuable information with the link now gone. I wanted to go back to it, cant now.

Most links will have advertising, its what makes reading online FREE.

Healing well has advertising too, so what harm was done? None. Every link will have advertising.

The # goal in forums is to help people with new information. Without that in mind its existence is pointless.

I'm thinking some over "policing" has possibly taken place here, no harm was done by the OP as far as I was concerned, .........> ........unless the OP is known in other areas of Healing Well to direct people to advertisement on purpose (?).

I've seen over-policing done on the lyme forum, by non-lyme moderators. Why?, did they have nothing else to do?

I really dont think Peter the owner/administrator would have minded.

Edit: I read some of the OP's ("wayup") other posts on the fibro forum, and this contributor/member seems legit.
