Hello

I'm new here. I'm due to have the entire right thyroid and nodule removed next month. It's 90% covered. What are the side effects afterwards? Will there be weight gain? Don't know if I'll be on any thyroid medication until six to eight weeks afterwards. I'm not on any now. Any advice your breathe appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hi Deltabreeze, I wanted to pop on & let you know this forum has very little activity. I understand you wanting to talk to someone that's had this surgery, however, these are questions you also need to ask your surgeon.
