Ugh! It's official.......I'm sick :(

So I started seeing blood again in the last week or so but not bad.  Now I think I know why.  I was getting sick  .  On New Years day, I had to take my daughter to urgent care (since her primary was closed) for a fever of 103 and heavy coughing - turned out she had bronchitis.  Then a few days later my hubby got it and then a day later, my gma (which I'm taking her into the docs today for it).  I thought I would miss this one seeing since I felt ok - a little ran down (my body must've been telling me something but I guess I wasn't listening) because I dodged the last "sickies" that made their round in my house in November.  I'm sincerely hoping that this doesn't get too bad because I so don't want to be on antibiotics and plus I don't want to be sick for my birthday (it's next week).  Agh! Ok, I just had to whine a bit...........

Oh no! I hate you are sick. I know you don't want to take antibiotics but don't let things get too bad (um I have some experience w/ that...ha ha). Keep us posted!!!

I really don't like to whine too much - I feel like such a wimp! lol But thanks for the well wishes.

I hope you feel better for your birthday Red. I'm sure you will.I just gotbutchered by my dentists.aaaaargh. i've got 6 stitches up above my front teeth.Still numb, thank God.

I hope you dodge this bullet and feel great for your Birthday next week. Try to get some extra rest. It's so hard being the Mommy of the family and taking care of everyone else, while trying not to get sick too! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Red.

My birthday is January 16th and I'm going to be 21 again! :) My son asked me if I was ever going to turn 22 and I said I would when I'm 40 umm I mean 22.

I would have to concur. Get to the doctor!!! Let us know what he/she says.

Yeah, something wicked it making its rounds for sure. All of us here got hit with it. She gave me azithromycin because even though my lungs were clear, she didn't want to chance me get a secondary infection from this virus due to my 6mp. I hopped in the shower this morning and I felt like I was getting pelted with acid so I looked down and found I have a rash. It burns and itches. The doc said just to keep an eye on it and if I get any postules or if it gets rough to get back there. But I've had this type of rash before when I was sick. It remains flat and just burns but it clears up on it's own over time. Ok, I'm off to the couch for some much needed rest.

I'm so sorry to hear you're so ill! It seems to me like people with chronic illnesses out to get a Get Out of Jail Free card when it comes to all that everyday, communicable stuff. No fair! I hope you feel better soon...

How are you doing now Red?

That sounds nasty Red.Did you take an anti histamine?Yes Beth is home.She is having an Mri next week and a ct scan. We are waiting for the cardioligists to OK her for general anaesthetic, anxious times!!!She has started developing problems down right side of body, most of beths physical problems are all down left side. So we are very worried that something has happenned on left side of brain. Her neurological examination yesterday is showing increased tone and brisker reflexes on right side, so we are very worried.She can no longer use walker and her co ordination has become very poor again. This all happenned a few months ago and the worry is that she may be having little strokes. The seizures are down to about 5 a day, she was having anuthing from 50 -100 small ones daily. So the seizure medication is working, but leaving her very drowsy.
So keep your fingers crossed that the nest few weeks bring her better health and a few answers why this is happenning.
