How to take Imuran?

I just noticed my bottle of 50m Imuran says take one 2x a day. Do you split it up or take the full 100 at bed time? Wonder why it would be split up?

I take the full 100mg at bedtime. Mine are also 50mg each.

I take all three of my pills at nighttime too.

I take all mine at night, my GI and Nephrologist both said ok.

yup, same here. 3 pills at bedtime. I think it only comes in 50mg tablets, and some people halve those depending on the prescribed dose. but yes, before bed is the standard time on our forum. for me, they are basically the last thing I do before bed. pop my pills, and can it a night.

My GI mentioned that a study showed that it works best when taken at night, although he said I could take it anytime during the day. I take mine at night..

I've not started mine yet, but my GI said to take it in the morning with breakfast as he thought that would help any nausea.

I take a pill and a half in the morning with breakfast and then another pill before I go to bed.
