Miralax prep

My son has to take the Miralax prep tomorrow afternoon for his colonoscopy on Monday. This is different than the Fleet phospho-soda that Bratcat has taken in the past.

He is supposed to take the Miralax with 64 oz of Gatorade. I am confused because the paper only says Gatorade (not red). He likes the purple type (riptide rush) and the blue frost. But on the other paper the doctor's office gave it says the day before the procedure he can't have red or blue juice. Are either of these gatorades considered blue juice?

Also, any recommendations about the Miralax prep? It starts around 5pm the night before (and includes taking 2 Dulcolax pills at 9pm). Does this mean he will be in the bathroom all night? Or early in the morning? Will it make him nauseous like the phospho-soda does for Bratcat?

His colonoscopy is at 1pm. Will he be done with the bathroom by noon?

If you're concerned about the color, don't use the blue. They just don't want the dye in the drink looking like blood during the scope.
Miralax was THE BEST prep I've done so far (phoso-soda and magnesium citrate both nasty as hell), my GI is a pediatric GI and he said its the kind he gives to toddlers (and I'm 19 and a big baby!) I didn't make me run to the bathroom a million times like the others did. For a while I thought it wasn't working but my aunt is a nurse and has taken the prep and she said its more gentle and in the end (no pun intended ) I was clear enough for the scope
