Yeah, breakfast is hard. Unfortunately there is no help from anyone on that aspect either. I eat oatmeal. I do omelets, with just about anything to go inside.... onion, mushrooms, spinach, chicken, broccoli, red bell pepper peeled, occasional turkey bacon. Potatoes cooked in light coconut oil for side or even in the omelet sometimes. I do green drinks mixed with almond milk(I use Nano Greens and Doctors Greens) with ground nuts for protein. I have used some agave nectar, with kefir and sprinkled ground almond and brazil nuts on it. Mixed the Kefir into some rolled oats in the evening, used ground nuts and let sit overnight. Pearl Barley with honey and ground goji berries, sometimes cocoa nibs. That's a few things I can think of off the top of my head. It's not all procedure, but it's the best I could do given no advice. Just make sure you don't eat the same thing two days in a row. You will burn out and fail this procedure quickly.
I really don't look to take things specifically for UC. I mean, if I see something that may be beneficial I may try it, but mostly I look for things that will help my body function to its full capacity. If it works well, it can better deal with the disease that it has. MSM really has nothing to do with UC. DHA is the component of the whole omega-3 fatty acid (fish oil) thing that you should pay attention to. You will see things advertised as being a great source of omega-3, but are still not composed of the part that benefits you most. You can google it and find all the info you need. If I was only allowed to have one supplement it would be omega-3's.
