AloeElite. Anyone taking this?

I don't know if it's been discussed before, but according to their website 'AloeElite' make some strong claims about it's benefits to IBD.

It's also very expensive.

Has anyone here tried it or is it yet another pie-in-the-sky wonder treatment?

Mackster - Yes, I tried aloe elite. I was on the maximum dose for several months and it cost me thousands.  At first, I thought it was helping. But, in reality, I dont think it did a thing for me.

I agree, they make some very bold claims on their website.  I wonder how many people who leave the comment "I am now in remission thanks to aloe elite" are infact fictitious!

I haven't used AloeElite, but I did try what used to be known as Molocure AMP and it looks like it's basically the same thing. I can't say it had any benefit for me; however, I was extremely ill at the time I tried it. Molocure is now being marketed under a different name:

Hi

I was on Aloe Elite for a bit until my Dr. told me that it acts as a laxitive. So it is not good for people with UC.  He did recomend that my mom take it  for IBS.

I did notice that I had even more diarhea when on the Aloe Elite.  I stopped taking it afte my GI told me that.

Thanks, I guess I'll be giving it a wide berth then, pretty much confirmed my suspicions.

I'll just continue with the two tablespoons of aloe gel mixed with an equal amount of oj.

Much cheaper too!

I started taking AloeElite on Saturday and while it's too soon to know if it's helping it's definitely not hurting. I hope this helps.

I have never tried the AloeElite. I was diagnosed with Crohn's two years ago and just last week found that I was misdiagnosed and have ulcerative colitis. I've been drinking whole-leaf whole-processed aloe vera. It helps your colon wall rebuild itself, healing it faster. And it's natural. I know three other people who are taking the aloe vera that have IBD and are symptom free. Try it. It might help.

Please make sure the aloe you're using has the aloin - the laxative component - removed. Otherwise, you could be causing yourself more harm than good. George's Roadrunner Aloe Vera is one that I know is safe.

I used aloe elite for many months, and it did absolutely nothing for me.  Except, make my wallet SIGNIFICANTLY lighter....
