I have health insurance, but apparently I have already reached my $1500 cap on prescriptions. Now I'm having to pay full price for my generic versions of Colazal and Rowasa. I've heard people talk about a discount card???

My insurance caps out at $500 a year.  That doesn't even cover 1 month supply of my drugs!  My doc now gives me samples of most things that I use.  The only thing I need to get from the pharmacy is the azathioprine.  And that stays basically within my $500 a year cap.  Ask your GI if they can do something like that for you.

Hi!  Maybe you are talking about the card I have.  This is a Colazal discount card.  I received from Salix back in Jan.  It is good for up to $100 off a 30 day supply (up to 6 prescriptions- meaning this stops in July)  I am not sure how I received this other than a year ago I found a rebate online for Colazal (at the time I didn't have insurance) and sent that in.  Anyway, I have insurance now and it has paid my $50 deductible since Feb.  I don't pay anything, of course until after July. 

There is an number on the back of the card 866-669-7597.  I hope this helps

Sams club and Costco has cheaper generics and you don't have to be a member.
