Last night I noticed I had pain in my eyeball like under the lid when I move my eye in certain ways so i went to bed early and when I got up today it was still there and it's still buggin me. I don't see any styes or anything like that.  Has anytone else felt this before?  Great, what now.....

I had the same thing and I had to go to the opthamologist and turns out I had uveitis.  Another "perk" of having ulcerative colitis!  They gave me prednisone eye drops and it helped.  I'm on Remicade now, so that also helpd with inflammation of the eyes.  Hope you feel better!

Do you have an ophthalmologist you can phone for advice? It's important to pursue this because UC can cause eye symptoms, but so can some meds, too. I got eye pain a couple yrs ago from vit D supplement my gastro had prescribed. Hope you can check it out ASAP. Definitely take care & let us know what you find out. / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])

I, too, suggest that you get it checked out. It could be something serious... or it could be something so basic as you have a foreign object in it.

One time, I had this pain in my eye for several days. It finally got so bad that I went to the eye doctor. He found a tiny, tiny piece of glass way back in the back. I have no idea how it got there, but it was instant relief when he removed it.

For me, it turned out to be a tiny little cyst on the inside of my bottom eyelid. Went away after a week or so, but darn it was uncomfortable. Felt like something was in my eye all the time.

The eye specialist gave me some artificial tears which helped immensely with the discomfort.

Go get it checked out quick i to had very sore eye and it turned out to be Uveitis not very nice but part and parsel with U/C have been on steriod eye drops for nearly 2 weeks now and it is getting better please get it sorted your eyes are to important not to

Get it checked out as soon as possible. Your eyes are highly sensitive and any problems need to be dealt with quickly. Even if the optician says you have nothing wrong... at least your mind is at ease
