HELP!! I need help, I am really sick!!

Hi Lori, Yesterday was nice,it started out with some cramps and they went away and it seemed like I was on my way to getting over it. I even ate some ice cream and it stayed down for awhile. Only went to BR around 5 times. Then I woke up at 3:41 this morning with the same thing. Its back and it hurts. I have no idea what it is, but I am really starting to worry and so is my family. My Dr's don't seem to know or much care. I have excellent insurance, and that is what it seems to be they are really interested in. I know I should not feel that way, but I can't help it when they ask me questions and I answer and they don't even care enough to get a stool or urine sample. They poke around in my stomach and it is so sore I can't stand for them to touch it and they hear it on their stetescope and still do nothing. Makes me wonder if they even know what they specialized in. I am sorry, I don't mean to rant at you. You have been such a dear friend thru all this. I am just disappointed in my Dr. and the way they treated me at the hospital is another story. I go to my cardio tomorrow and I trust him. I hope he has some good advice. Thanks for listening. Lori, Thanks for the advice I have already decided I need a new G. I. I just wonder how many of them out there is like this. I think my problem is they are a large group of 12 specialists and I think they have more patients then they do time. So they just push you thru. No bed side manners at all. They make you feel as though you are interupting their day by being there. I need a smaller, more one on one Dr. But what I really don't get is my cardio's are huge, like 15 Dr's, asst's. to Dr's, And 12 surgeons and Nurse's. But they always have time to explain and talk to you. I guess some care, some don't. Take care and I hope you continue feeling better. Angel

Hi Kim, Thanks for ranting with me and understanding. I was hurting so bad when I went Thursday to her, I couldn't straighten up. It hurts to stretch my stomach. And she did nothing except add Rowasa enemas, pain pills and said she would have her nurse call today to see how I am, Guess what, no call yet. Now all my bones are starting to hurt from lack of exercise, except to BR and back to den. But that has probably been alot, lol, I am trying to keep a stiff upper lip. Tanks for caring and take care. are you saying that your md's have NOT checked your stool for c-diff? if they haven't, i would for sure find new one's. get them to do it asap, before you lose anymore weight and are in the hospital for dehydration and other complications. very sorry to hear about all of your health concerns. stay pro-active and be your own educated advocate!
